Premiere of the 8 Freedom Songs by Thomas Merton

Eight Thomas Merton poems have been set to music, four by Alexander Peloquin and four by Fr. Fayle. The Peloquin settings are for baritone, chorus, and orchestra. The Fayle settings are for mezzo-soprano, cello and piano. This music should be pleasing to spiritual, classical and jazz audiences alike.
